David - 9 week Syllabus and Faith at Home Sheets

The Bible describes David as ‘a man after God’s own heart’; David loved God and trusted Him. Even from a young age, God knew that one day David would be King of all Israel, we see in David an example of leadership and worship. Often in our Sunday School classes we tend to focus on the ‘famous’ stories of David and skim over the more challenging parts of his story. This series seeks to cover the whole story, from the boy shepherd who defeated a giant, to the foolish king who was tempted and made poor choices. We learn lessons about trusting God, being good friends to those around us and what we can do when we are faced with temptations of our own.
